Job Purpose

As a proven professional you will be required to provide strategic analysis on the latest development in Automotive AI applications and Autonomous Vehicle technologies. The role also includes supporting the development of the company’s relevant strategies and identifying potential opportunities for research and innovation at Changan UK

Person Specification

• BS/MS or above in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of three years’ R&D experience in relevant industries
• Good understanding of Intelligent Machines and Autonomous Systems from fundamental research, advanced concepts to engineering
• Good insight into Machine Learning algorithms and systems
• Experience of project delivery and automotive experience are preferable

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish the foundation for the CAUK Research on Intelligent Machines and Autonomous Systems
• Support the development of the company’s Intelligent Vehicle Technology Strategies
• Help the company to develop Intelligent Vehicle Research roadmaps
• Deliver regular analysis reports on the latest development in Automotive AI applications and Autonomous Vehicle technologies
• Identify potential opportunities for collaborative research with UK universities and relevant technology developers
• Carry out research into Governmental laws and regulations. Produce relevant reports on a regular basis
• Act as a Representative of the CAUK to establish relationships in the Intelligent Vehicle Research communities in the UK and potentially EU as well

Other Features of Job

• Primary location will be at Birmingham Business Park
• Travel may be required but depends on project requirement
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
